Getting the setup back to speed after a repair at Apple.
They only had two minor screw-ups: They did not place the new mac address stickers in the right spot (just left taped to the logic board), and did not seat the SAS connector the the logic board correctly. That did not matter to me because I have it connected to my RAID card instead (but I can see a regular customer having to drag the machine back to the store, eek).
Right now the only issue is with my OWC Raid unit does not like the eSATA I give it from the MLB. It starts to copy but then just stops, and then crashes finder, then my computer. It could be an issue with these garbage seagate drives I am using still in the unit. However since it is for backup only, I am fine that it is only plugged in via Firewire 800 (getting a mere 80Megs a second copy instead of the joyous 225 of eSATA).
